The Cyprus Democratic Lawyers Association (CDLA) is an independent professional organization founded to provide a collective platform for lawyers to express reasoned positions on matters of public interest, grounded in the principles of democracy, the rule of law, international law, and the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
Its purpose is the constructive and responsible articulation of views aimed at safeguarding legality, institutional integrity, and the proper functioning of the legislative, executive, and judicial powers, thereby strengthening the democratic resilience of the Republic of Cyprus within the European and international legal order.
